Dutch Players Dominate Titan Poker Sunday

February 22 was a huge night for Dutch players at Titan Poker. Player “createluck” played his way through satellites into the $200,000 Guaranteed, the major Sunday event which attracted 1,033 starters. He had also earned a seat in the iPOPS Live Super Satellite by winning a satellite two days earlier.

“createluck” multi-tabled his way back and forth between the two tournaments. The first to finish was the smaller iPOPS Live Super Satellite, which ran for just under five hours. Two prize packages were guaranteed in the satellite, and “createluck” was one of the two players who won a seat to the iPOPS Live Main Event in Barcelona to be held this February.

With the €2,200 iPOPS Live package under his belt, “createluck” continued to play the $200,000 Guaranteed, which ran for over 10 hours. He made it to the final table but was eliminated when, as the short-stacked player, he was unable to complete a straight and fell to a better hand holding ace high. For placing sixth, “createluck” won a prize of $8,160.70.

Another Dutch player, “mingingharder", landed in third place when his ace high fell to ace high with a king kicker. He won $19,606.34 for his third place finish. “mingingharder” recently represented Titan Poker at the Irish Open.

The third Dutch finalist was “VacheEspagnole”, who busted out of the tournament in eighth place for a prize of $4,028.70.
